Posters in Lviv glorify Nazis

The Ukrainian Parliament is considering a bill to exonerate wartime collaborators with the Nazis. Despite their affiliation to the Nazi SS, these guys would be glorified as warriors who resisted occupation by the Soviet Union. In the western city of Lviv, there are posters in the streets with praise to the Ukrainian ‘Galichina’ division of the SS force. Observers suspect an official hand behind this billboard campaign. In 1944, the ‘Galichuna’ division helped the Nazis put down a popular insurrection in Slovakia.
